Pilot project »Video Interviews«:
Goal:
The main goal of PP »Video Interviews« is to promote clusters and incubators and international collaboration. We would like cluster and incubator managers themselves to share their views in front of a video camera, during short (approx. 5 min) interviews in English. They could briefly present their organization and address the core topics of CLUNET, namely incubation and internationalization. The interviews would be prepared very precisely beforehand with a set of questions or topics and would end with a success story illustrating a practice at the crossroads of clustering and incubation. The interviews would be published on a common website and would be available to other cluster/incubator managers, policy makers and other public who would like to exchange information, good practices and to come into contact with interviewees.
Execution of PP in Slovenia:
In May 2008 RDA LUR invited managers of clusters and technology platforms to express a wish for collaboration in this PP. Mr. Iztok Lesjak, Manager of Technology Park Ljubljana, Mr. Ljubiša Malbašić, Executive Manager of TP I-TECHMED and Mr. Marko Jurančič, Executive Manger of High Technology Products Manufacturers’ Cluster (GIZ VTG) responded to the invitation.
Preparations for shooting started in 2/2 of 2008, when a questionnaire was set up. In April 2009 video interviews were shot and they have been available since then on the CLUNET website.
The idea is that this website would become the first contact point for collaboration among cluster/incubator managers and among clusters. Interviews are available also on a special website of Institute Jožef Stefan - Videolectures.net.
